What teaching material system does Gruber Cambridge High School use?
We use textbooks from famous publishing organizations such as Pearson, McGraw Hill, and Nelson-this is the most highly rated textbook system in Canada and the United States.
Mathematics and science textbooks are equipped with the "My Lab" function (referring to online homework, guidance, and evaluation platform) to help students conduct virtual experiential learning after class, promote knowledge consolidation, facilitate academic evaluation and test, and support teacher teaching.
The electronic version of the textbook has a "highlight" function. Students can use this function to mark important content and content that needs to be consulted by the teacher. The electronic version of the textbook also has a "read aloud" function, which can read the contents of the book for students.
The textbooks we use correspond to Ontario's curriculum expectations, which are especially helpful for students to meet the university entrance standards in the future.
Textbooks provide teachers with assessment and examination recommendations to ensure that teachers provide students with the necessary learning materials.
In addition to the above-mentioned paper textbooks and their electronic versions, we also use some other teaching materials and tools, including hands-on experiment videos, video conferencing software, teaching courses and online laboratories that can interact with students online in virtual classrooms, and the latest academic Journal articles (for example: Harvard Business School Journal). When we are in the classroom, we also conduct experiments on the spot.
Similarly, field trips are an important part of the education process in Ontario. Therefore, once we can go out, we will go out of the classroom to study on the ground (natural attractions, museums, libraries), so that students can put their theoretical studies into practice!
